SCORE is a partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration and has more than 250 offices and 10,000 volunteers in communities across the country. It offers free, confidential one-on-one mentoring services to aspiring entrepreneurs, along with other valuable resources like workshops webinars and resource materials. The Fargo Chapter (Prairie and Lakes SCORE) was founded in 1965. In the past 5 years Fargo SCORE has conducted over 2500 mentoring sessions with more than 1700 clients. According to surveys by PricewaterhouseCoopers, we have helped start more than 500 new businesses.
