About
Founded in 1975, Plains Art Museum serves 47,000+ visitors annually. This includes 10,000+ K-12 & university/college students, and life-long learning who engage a variety of art-making activities, many in the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity classrooms & studios. The Museum provides learning and inspiration through art exhibitions, art education experiences, public programs and civic engagements. They have a permanent collection of 4,200+ objects and are the only accredited art museum in North Dakota. Meetings, weddings and receptions can host 300+ guests.
