The Chamber's Annual Celebration: Celebrating Leadership, Service and Community Impact 

Now, more than ever, leadership matters. In a time of uncertainty across our nation and communities, leaders are called to step up and bring clarity, strength and vision for the future. The Chamber’s Annual Celebration will showcase what leadership looks like in action, highlighting those who guide progress, foster collaboration and serve with purpose. 

Join hundreds of business and community leaders on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Delta by Marriott in Fargo, N.D., for an afternoon that blends reflection, recognition and inspiration. Together, we’ll celebrate the leaders who have shaped our region over the past year, honor our Legacy Leader whose career reflects decades of purposeful leadership and share The Chamber’s bold vision for the future. 

At the heart of the program, we will present the 2025 Legacy Leader Award to Jeffry J. Volk, a business and civic leader whose steady leadership has left a lasting mark on our community. From growing one of the region’s most respected engineering firms to championing organizations and initiatives across the region, Jeffry embodies what it means to lead with service, vision and purpose. 

This year’s event will also introduce you to The Chamber’s Center for Civic Engagement, a forward-looking initiative designed to cultivate leaders and inspire greater involvement in shaping our region’s future. 

Expect an afternoon that celebrates leadership in every form: reflecting on our region’s progress, honoring those who guide us forward, and inspiring all of us to step up with courage and purpose. 

About the 2025 Legacy Leader Award Recipient, Jeffry J. Volk 

A civil engineering graduate of North Dakota State University, Jeffry dedicated his career to Moore Engineering and later Moore Holding Company (now Vistal). As President and CEO, he guided the firm’s growth into one of the region’s most respected employee-owned companies, modeling long-term community investment along the way. 

Jeffry’s impact reaches far beyond business. He has served in leadership roles with organizations including the Greater Fargo Moorhead EDC, the NDSU Foundation, Jeremiah Program, Boy Scouts of America and The Chamber itself. Alongside his wife Jeanie, Jeffry has also supported future generations through endowed scholarships at NDSU. 

Through it all, Jeffry has consistently shown up for his employees, industry and community. His legacy is a testament to the lasting difference one leader can make when service is rooted in purpose.
