On Thursday, September 4, The Chamber will host its second annual Chamber Impact Day, a remarkable community event that brings The Chamber's many volunteers together to support non-profit organizations in FMWF. Let's roll up our sleeves, build connections and create positive change in our region.

Chamber Impact Day offers a platform for non-profits to showcase their mission, values and impact to a broader audience. For this event, The Chamber is gathering volunteers across FMWF to tackle projects that our local organizations might not have the resources or volunteers to do alone.  

By utilizing volunteer support from The Chamber’s various committees and membership, participating non-profits can minimize expenses and allocate crucial re sources directly to fulfilling their mission. Every hand lent contributes to creating a supportive environment for positive changes. Together, we are striving to foster a sense of community and shared responsibility.

This is a unique opportunity to raise awareness, attract new supporters and demonstrate the vital role of your non-profit within our community.

What types of projects do you need help with?

The Chamber's volunteers will offer a diverse range of skills, abilities and experience. Examples of volunteer projects or tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning
• Flyer Distribution
• Gardening
• Landscaping
• Litter Removal
• Painting
• Repairs
• Renovations

Join your fellow members and volunteers from all areas of The Chamber and community for a fun and impactful day of serving our area non-profits. This will be a day of forming and strengthening relationships, enhancing your impact as a community volunteer and discovering the critical work of our area non-profits. Together, we have the power to make provide important services and leave a tangible impact on our participating organizations.

Chamber Impact Day volunteers will include Chamber board members, Community Builders, and program committee members from Leadership FMWF, Professionals of Color, Women Connect and Young Professionals Network. The Chamber will also invite individuals from the general membership to join our efforts.
